LYRICS^^^

Don't get any big ideas
They're not gonna happen
That thin stewardess her skirt in a mess
You don't stand a chance
What do you look like when you're nude
What do you look like when you're nude
What do you look like nude
Soulless reflection
In the other person's eyes
Death bed, first home damaged good, subject
Object none
So don't get any big ideas
They're not gonna happen
You'll go to hell
For what your dirty mind is thinking
What do you look like when you're nude
What do you look like when you're nude
It's weirding me out.

"DON'T GET ANY BIG IDEAS, THEYRE NOT GONNA HAPPEN"

My fav because:
This albums has such BEAUTIFUL instrumentals and incredible ambience. I heavily resonate with its emotional nihlism and melancholic undertones, especially in "Nude" and "All I Need." Seriously my favorite Radiohead album--how would I describe it's overall genre? no clue.

Favorite Tracks:

  1. Fake Plastic Trees
  2. The Bends
  3. Just
  4. High and Dry

"IF I COULD BE WHO YOU WANTED, ALL THE TIME"

My fav because:
I LOVE the guitar elements in this album, it is such a great example of the alt rock genre. The emotional climaxes of "Fake Plastic Trees" and "Just" are like none other. With the rock instrumentals and Thom Yorke's voice, you can feel the passion as well as the ebb and flow of emotions within each song. Great for jamming out.

My fav because:
Since listening to this album, I have never ever heard ANYTHING similar to the sound of it. It has such unique instrumentals and Paul Dano's voice ties it all together perfectly. I suppose the genre could be described as art rock? Idk. All I know is that I love it so so so much DANONATION 4LYFE!!!

"I'M SURPRISINGLY ACCEPTING THIS DISCOMFORT, BUT I'M NOT TRYING TO BE MUCH OF A PERSON RIGHT NOW"

My fav because:
I loved the era that "Malmo" was trending, prime danonation april of 2022. "Malmo" and "Drifter" remind me of Paul Dano's Riddler--one of my FAVORITE characters of all time. Anyway, the songs are super good, too. I'd say indie/art rock? If you're into that listen to Mook they're so good.

Favorite Tracks:

  1. Consolation Prize
  2. Bare
  3. The Devil
  4. 2Bux
  5. Halos

"NOTHING REAL IS PERFECT JESUS AVERT YOUR EYES FROM ME"

My fav because:
This album changed my life when I first listened to it. "2Bux" and "The Devil" are SUPER relatable to me as someone who worries a lot about the future and the present. This is technically a demo album, and while there IS an offical version, it just doesn't feel the same as the demo.

  2. Trying 2 Fool U
  3. Hunting For Sport
  4. Name Brand
  5. Yer Killin' Me

"EVERYTHING'S FINE FOR NOW, HOW LONG CAN IT LAST?"

My fav because:
This album is literally the embodiment of the average angry teen, I love it so much. The band's glory days of angry emotional emo/rock are very reminiscent here, just slightly punk-rockified. I truly believe that this is one of the best punk-rock albums of all time. It's a shame that the band turned into indie-pop slop after 2019, their old work is SO good. If you like emo-rock check out their "Early Works" album.
